Mark was born into a baking family and became a third generation Master Baker. He worked for his family’s baking business for 29 years before setting up his own artisanal bakery in 2012 ‘Patisserie Mark Bennett’.
Whilst working for his family business he won over 100 gold medals for cake decorating, designed and decorated a royal wedding cake for the Duke and Duchess of York, won the Piero Scacco award and qualified as a bakery judge. Since Patisserie Mark Bennett opened it's doors in 2012 he has won 22 world bread awards, Baker of the Year 2014 and Craft Bakery of the Year 2015.
